When asked, "Why did you join PLAN?"

    26 % indicated help for our child in the future after our death
    26 % indicated help for our child
    15 % indicated socialization for our child

When asked, "What do you like best about PLAN?"  

    35 % listed socialization, fellowship and/or education
    32 % listed case management, counseling, social workers
    6 % listed assurance that PLAN will be there when we are gone

When asked "How has PLAN improved quality of life for your family member?"

    44 % replied consumer had increased friends and socialization
    18 % replied consumer had increased interests and activities
    18 % replied consumer had appropriate counseling, insight
     9 % of parents reported their own quality of life had improved
     6 % replied consumer had assurance of life-long support

When asked, "What does PLAN need to improve?"

    32 % listed none or did not respond
    15 % listed more education
     9 % listed transportation
     9 % listed more housing

When asked to provide other comments regarding PLAN, 20 respondents did so - just some of their comments:

    "Keep up the good work! You are appreciated."
    "It would be wonderful to have more housing"
    "More open family meetings"
    "You have a truly dedicated staff and you do a wonderful job. My only hope is that as you grow you continue to maintain the high standards you have set by hiring only the very best."
    "PLAN is doing marvelous work. We appreciate it very much."
