Thanks to the generosity of the late Jerry Bartos and the support of his family, PLAN of North Texas, Inc is very pleased to announce the opening of its Recovery Resale Store on October 1, 2009.

The store is located at 7879 Spring Valley (north west corner of Coit Road and Spring Valley), Suite 112, Dallas, Texas 75254. The Store Manager is Scott Frasier and he can be reached at the Recovery Resale Shop's main telephone number - 972-385-3770. The Store will be open from 10:00 to 6:00 Monday thru Saturday.

The purpose of the Recovery Resale Store is to provide job skills and vocational training to individuals with mental illness so that they can develop the capability and work experience which will allow them to find positions in private businesses and to become productive members of society.

Donations of gently used furniture, clothing and household items will be accepted for resale. The proceeds from the items donated will be used to defray the expenses of operating the facility. The Recovery Resale Shop is not a thrift or consignment store.

PLAN of North Texas, Inc has a long history of improving the lives of those afflicted with mental illness and the Recovery Resale Store is an integral part of that effort.
